Emilio fluorite show up in a variety of forms and associations, all the way from large, multi-mineral ones on matrix to single fluorite crystals with no associations and no matrix. One would think that the latter would be of lesser value and in general, that would be true. There are, however, exceptions to that rule, and this is one. Although rare and beautiful crystal face patterns are not rare from Emilio this one is a gorgeous example. Moreover, the gemmy cubes are modified by the trapezohedron and they show unusual phantoms and changes in the colour intensity. The colour ranges from near colourless to medium violet in the centre of the cubes. The size of the largest crystal is 2.6 cm, around one inch. Some cleavages planes at the bottom and back of the specimen. The two largest crystals are completely pristine. It sits by itself, as you can see in the photos.
